$21.95 is the online price for many of our pies and includes a handling fee due to the increased packaging and labor costs associated with shipping handmade pies. Shipping is extra and depends on the destination. Retail prices vary by location.

Shipping prices for pies, baked goods, etc, are quoted directly from the shipping carrier. These prices depend on destination, package weight, and shipping method, and may include a handling fee.
We have made great strides in reducing the cost of shipping, such as by offering Ground shipping for pies to a number of states, and continue to look for ways to reduce the shipping costs seen by our customers.

Our pies are made with no preservatives and have a four day shelf life when stored at room temperature. To extend the life of the pie you can keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2 additional days, or in the freezer for up to one year, although freezer burn may develop within that time frame. To help minimize and prevent freezer burn, wrap the pie in saran wrap and keep it inside it's box.

When you are ready to use your pie preheat your oven to 250 degrees, unwrap the pie and place in the middle rack of your oven for 1-3 hours or until the pie is totally thawed and the top of the pie has crisped up.

Most of our fruit pies are either vegetarian or vegan. Cream pies are made with milk, butter, and eggs. Any fruit pie with crumb topping has butter in it (as an ingredient in the crumb topping). Pumpkin pies are made with eggs. All of our double crusted fruit pies, with the exception of Double Crusted Apple, which is made with butter, are made with no dairy or animal products. If you would like to receive a Double Crusted Apple pie without butter, you can special order one from any one of our five Metro Detroit area locations.

We'd love to- unfortunately our cream pies are very fragile and don't hold up during the shipping process. If we can find an efficient way to ship our cream pies and still have them arrive in one beautiful piece, we'll do it!

First, put some pie, any pie, into your shopping cart, even though it's not the one you want. Then go through the checkout procedure. On the page that asks for your shipping destination and preferred shipping method there is a box near the bottom of the page where you can enter in any information about your order that you feel is pertinent; in this box enter the kind of pie that you really want. If there's a problem with your request we'll call you.
